Is there a team that's officially backed by @FlatpakApps to lobby with software developers/companies to bring their app, not only to Flatpak/Flathub, but hopefully to Linux for the first time?

@micahbp @FlatpakApps I don’t think there’s an individual company who is responsible for doing that, which is part of why we saw more success with Snap in that regard early on.

However, with Red Hat, the Fedora community, GNOME Foundation, Endless OS Foundation, elementary, Inc., and several other organizations or companies behind distros backing Flatpak, it is becoming ever-more popular.

I’d love to see “Flatpak developer advocate” be a legit role at one of those orgs, though.

@cassidy @FlatpakApps Good point and yes! Same. I just want to see more apps and/or users coming to Linux and I know it can happen, especially with the app packaging landscape getting so much easier with the likes of Flatpak.
