What a gift that keeps on giving: torrentfreak.com/adobe-goes-af

At this point I have serious issues distinguishing what's real and what's parody: they're all equally absurd and nonsensical.

In case you are bored and want to help the mobile phone ecosystem: gnome-usage's graph creation sucks 86% of the #pinephone CPU's lifeblood. Slash that little vampire! #gnome #linux

@huy_ngo, the site is pure evil and is made to abuse search engines for clicks. This reminds me of drewdevault.com/2020/11/17/Bet

@huy_ngo, *cough* cov-news *cough*

Well at least yours is readable.

Just downloaded a 10 MB rar ball which contains a 1 MB epub.

@debian I understand very well why Google wants to collaborate with Debian, but why would Debian want to collaborate with Google? If this is a step towards Google getting more influence over Debian, then this collaboration is bad news. Take a look at what Google is and what Google is doing to the world today. Google's near-monopoly position on a lot of things is dangerous. Please, please, stay independent from Google.

The program I'm applying to requires transcript of records (among other things) in form of a spreadsheet. Following my classmates' suggestion, I pdftotext'ed the preprinted document, preprocessed it and used sed one-liners to fill in 43 courses' grades in less than 5 minutes (including the time to look up for that one-liner). I'm so proud of myself: I saved so much time that otherwise would be wasted on manually inputing the data and managed to use it to watch how otters are S-tier mustelids.

Complaining about the ecological impact of the blockchain is wrong because it implies the idea that it is useful enough in the first place to talk about the downsides.

@huy_ngo, meet Julia Franklin, my personal web developer!

In contrast to the most thoughtful thing ever of integrating shell and package manager into the REPL, 's error messages are just poorly formatted nonsense garbage, at least to someone who doesn't know the language.

tonight the @mobian developers @devrtz and undef have reviewed the source code and packaging of wake-mobile which can serve as a stopgap alarm clock capable of waking up a suspended phone.

We'll try to make it available for mobian shortly.

If the EFF says "...reject FLoC and other misguided attempts to reinvent behavioral targeting. We implore Google to abandon FLoC..." that's good enough for me. eff.org/deeplinks/2021/03/goog

@codesections, is there support for comptime math equations as well? I'm looking for a JS-free alternative to transit my current site built in Sphinx, but I don't want to retire my old math blog posts.

Just noticed that @debian source search even support searching for ctags: sources.debian.org/advancedsea

Many useful. Much wow.
