Today is the anniversary of the assassination of Fred Hampton. One of the awful things about US history, is the very diverged view of the purpose and nature of the Black Panther Party that exists between many Black US citizens and many non-Black ones. In particular, the false meme that Black Panthers "hated all white people."

As an intro, I encourage folk to watch Ryan Coogler's "Judas and the Black Messiah." It's a very well made film.
