What word should I use? In the western media, they say 'regime' like the "harper regime" or the "villarruel* regime" when they don't like it. Or they put 'administration' when they do like it like, por ejemplo, "the Trump Administration" or the "Trudeau Administration. You see the difference?
Now, "asshole-bastards-mother-rpluckers" is a bit too long, so what can I use in fedi? I know I could just say "le gouvernement Macron" or "Сім'я Мелоні". I'm just asking.
* i hate her boss more to even type his name
@gemlog Junta? Or maybe that's reserved for when the military is in control
@trebach @gemlog
Yeah, it's the original definition, but it's often used that way… including by Russian propaganda — I kid you not, they've been using «Киевская хунта» (literally "Kiev junta") nearly universally in the aftermath of 2014, which was particularly inconsistent as neither Poroshenko, nor Zelensky had to do with military and no one related to the army was even remotely in power at the time 😂
