Did I read something recently that said that carrots were actually not good for vision and it was some kind of propaganda? :shocked:

I think this was true back in the day when a lot of people were smoking — nicotine is bad for blood vessels and obviously bad for vision in the long run, carotin could neutralise that to a degree and pop-sci articles tend to simplify things, so it boiled down to "carrots are good for your vision" — at the time it could've made sense, but right now — not necessarily.
