why do m.2 drives not come with screws like where the hell do I get a screw for it now? :BlobCat_Googly_NotLikeThis:
thankfully Lenovo put a convenient little plastic think on the nvmw hole so you just put it in there.
So the server now has two 2tb SSDs :BlobCat_EvilSneakyDevil:

also this "server" has no right to work as well as it does
it's a tiny Lenovo Thinkcentre with an i5-6500T. It runs almost all of my services except for Pleroma, runs dozens of dockers containers, the CPU is asleep at the wheel most of the time and it runs dead silent for well over a year now nonstop

@catto
We have too much computing power on our hands and IMO had it for quite some time already. When it comes to hosting personal services, it's I/O, not the CPU that is the bottleneck — but you've got it covered with those SSDs.

i'd agree that i/o is important. there are some things that are cpu-bound that would benefit from higher core/thread count, but in general what catto (and i) have is just perfect for most things.
