@Rhoseigh
You might want to check out Gemini too if you didn't already: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gemini_(protocol)
It's considered a "spiritual successor" to Gopher and is heavily inspired by it, but in addition it's built with modern encryption, public-private keypair authentication and variable-width displays (the text can be reflown) in mind.
@Rhoseigh
I might give you a few hints to help you around, grab a build of Lagrange for your platform here: https://git.skyjake.fi/gemini/lagrange/releases
You can get Android build on F-droid and iOS version should be on TestFlight.
It's currently the most feature-rich GUI (and as of now it has a TUI/console/text interface too) Gemini browser — it also supports Gopher and some other "smolnet" (that's what we often call the parts not associated with "bigger" web and its technologies) protocols.
@Rhoseigh
Here are a few capsules (that's what sites are called in Geminispace) worth checking out:
Glossary — to help you familiarise yourself with other such terms: gemini://hanzbrix.pollux.casa/glossary.gmi
Station — a "social" Gemini thing, it was one of the first capsules of this kind and remains my personal favourite: gemini://station.martinrue.com/
BBS (aka Bubble) — another popular forum from the maker of Lagrange: gemini://bbs.geminispace.org/
@Rhoseigh
Antenna — an aggregator of what people post in Geminispace e.g. on their gemlogs (blogs): gemini://warmedal.se/~antenna/
Cosmos — another aggregator from the maker of Lagrange, here the posts are even structured as replies if that is the case: gemini://skyjake.fi/~Cosmos/
These should serve as a source of pointers for further exploration, have fun!

@m0xee ooh even better! I’ve come across it before but maybe wasn’t the right time; now this looks great. Thanks!!
