"In a future where browsers include AI agents that take actions on behalf of users, there might be more confidence in a browser designed for privacy and transparency, the interim CEO points out"

Didn't say if firefox will include this and just be more private and transparent or not include this and just be a browser?

Why would I ever want a browser to just do things for me.. we already have systems to fill in info with out AI. Make a crappy AI extension and leave it out.

@hurt138 @slashdot if you record every your action, everything what you say and do - and feed this as prompt to AI-model trained on human behaviors - that AI will predict your next movement.

In context of webbrowsers, or even computer-interactions - future webbrowser/computer will have just - single button "to do anything" - and Ai will predict "what you wanted to do when pressed button".

Having single button to do everything - is dream of any company - because consumer want exactly this.

@danil @slashdot at that point do we need customers can't we just have AI push the button?

Yep, that meatbag in front of the screen seems kinda… redundant. And the screen itself too — just let AI do AI with other AI in a datacenter somewhere, churning through what's remaining of Earth's resources 😇
