Using different nicknames everywhere is a must — that's what I've mostly been doing to date, my nicknames are usually similar, but hard to guess, e.g. you can probably guess that two accounts are the same person, but you, knowing me on one website, probably won't be able to easily find my account on the other.
Fedi is one of the rare exceptions I'm making to this rule and I think I'm actually making a big mistake 😅

On the other hand for some people acting stupid/cringe is the tool for promoting their ideas — at some point it's even impossible to tell whether it's intentional or not… Is anything they ever do even intentional or are they "acting natural" and seeing wherether that takes them — online reputation isn't even as punishable as we're inclined to think.
