Problem: I don't want to go for my morning run, but I've already checked all my apps.

I went. And the worst part about it was that it ended up being my longest stretch of continuous running yet, which wouldn't have happened if I had stayed in. It's so annoying when half of my brain is more right than the other half.

Sometimes it takes a plunge to get the things going: yesterday I was planning to do some chores and then go for a walk, but I was feeling like shit and everything was taking me seemingly forever, so when I was done it was already midnight, I started thinking of giving up the idea of going for a walk, but in the end just got dressed and went outside.

I finished my usual walking route rather fast, but instead of going home, I decided to just sit on the bench and browse Fedi/Geminispace for some time โ€” same stuff I would probably do at home after taking a shower and before going to bed.
I stayed there till almost 2AM, but doing that on the park bench somehow made my mood improve drastically. After arriving back home instead of wasting time on this and that I went straight to shower, went to bed and got proper sleep ๐Ÿ˜

True! Somehow I still didn't expect it to shift from steadily rolling towards the lowest point of the day to running home skipping ๐Ÿ˜‚
