Also I didn't know that more or less modern models of dot-matrix printers exist, this one has USB even! My LQ-100 only supports parallel port connection, but I have a print server for it so it's not a problem.

He-he, I'm not sure about this newer thing and it's not that prominent in the video, but original LQ-100 is QUITE loud!
I can't hear the music I listen to at medium volume from the outside due to ambient noise at daytime, but I can hear the printer quite well. I think one of my neighbours got themselves one of these beasts as I can hear this noise from time to time and it's hard to mistake it for something else π
