Not the fastest ssd out there, but probably way faster than one would need for storage drive in a laptop and 56 euros for 1 TB doesn't seem bad at all 🤔

@ThatCrazyDude The biggest problem with lesser-know brands in my experience isn't their specs, but the percentage failures being significantly higher, that is why in general I prefer to go with well-established brands for things like RAM, storage and batteries, unless someone recommends are particular product they themselves used and had a satisfactory experience.
I wonder what yours would be with this one — because the price is very attractive.

@m0xee well, tomorrow I can tell you how it performs in the terms of read/write speeds, but as far as the lifespan go.... 😉

@ThatCrazyDude Yep, lifespan is usually the biggest problem. Because even well-known brand might surprise in unpleasant way, Plextor SSD I got for my laptop once died in like 7 months. The warranty covered it of course, but they were out of replacements so they have given me my money back and as it coincided with a significant price drop, I could get myself a server-grade Micron SSD instead — I didn't mind 😄
I'm still using it in a different laptop

@m0xee well, this one has stated warranty of 3 years and it's Amazon so if it craps out on me there won't be many questions asked. It's just a matter of keeping important shit backed up on a nas, methinks
