No, it was just dependent on latest wlroots and the one in Void was sometimes lagging behind. It was possible to build it by adding an overlay for void-packages tree.
Now they seem to be not willing to add it because of ideological differences. Same with Chimera.

And that is the only product of Drew's "activism" — someone won't have the software they might want. Was anyone persuaded, did someone change his or her mind, did the world become a better place? No, he just radicalised more people for no reason at all. And it's not just pointless shit, as we can see, it's actually harmful.
