UI/UX tip: it should be harder to accidentally tap on the top of the volume slider and go deaf in 0.3 seconds

@vyivel in ye olden days, we had these little things called wheels they put on them and when you moved them you felt them moving like a sort of haptic feedback

@dysfun @vyivel Eh, they're not particularly effective as dealing with shitty mastering though.

TVs playing ads significantly louder than actual content and requiring you to rush to lower the volume (because analog audio compressors/limiters are stupid expensive) when ads come on is not a new problem.

Get yourself a pair of high impedance headphones, it's unreasonable to use HD590 with my Android phone at anything, but the highest volume setting — I doubt I can get hearing injury like that even if I try really hard 🤣
