Would make a believable story if it wasn't so poorly carried out in details. They have previously stated that one of these men agreed to do it for half a million roubles, half of which he had received as a payment to his card. Hard to imagine that someone would kill dozens of civilians without being ideologically prepared beforehand, but I might accept even that.
@m0xee @kevinrothrock The point in these types of lies isn’t to be believable to a skeptical audience, it’s to declare to their captive audience (Russian citizens) that what they declare is truth no matter what because they have the power to make it so. It’s not meant to be convincing, it’s meant as a power play.

@kevinrothrock The one who does this would at least be prepared that it would be rather hard to escape and it's somewhat likely he'd be killed in a shootout. And all that for 10'000 USD? And crossing the border between nations at war — yeah, that's where no one would expect them! On a fucking car? The same one they've used to escape the crime scene? No one's that insane and/or dumb
