Why omit the BandCamp link?

Good stuff so far! It's night here and this is just what I need 😁
@m0xee Because there’s so many links! Bandcamp is good too!
@psychictides
Ha-ha, true, you must have it on all other major platforms too. I was going to ask for BC link specifically, but then I have found it right on your profile 😄
@m0xee Yeah. It’s on Apple Music, Pandora, Bandcamp, etc, but in my experience Spotify is the main one people use. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@psychictides
I might have a certain perception bias, but many here, myself included, prefer to have their own local copy instead of streaming, so posting BC link, at least in addition to Spotify, is well worth it.
@m0xee Well this is my preference for myself too. And, most people stream. So, we put it in as many places as possible so people can enjoy however works for them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@psychictides
I'm not even sure Spotify supports lossless TBH, I know Tidal and Deezer do, but not so sure about S. As for 24 bits, it should give wider dynamic range in theory — not all genres would benefit from it equally, I think it's mainly important for acoustic recordings, so jazz, classical music, live rock shows… I don't think it's that important for electronic music, hip-hop and studio-recorded rock music.
@m0xee Oh and Bandcamp obviously, in 24 bits in various formats, even. Bandcamp is great and really only music nerds such as ourselves care about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@m0xee Oh, Spotify does not support lossless. Almost no one does other than the ones you mentioned. Spotify’s compression is actually pretty good imho. (Better than Apple’s. I am not a huge Apple fan when it comes to music. Their compression is a little tighter, especially volume adjustments, and frankly I wish they weren’t!)
