#Russia embassy in South Africa on Twitter posted the new map of #BRICS countries titled "reality of a new multipolar world" (original grammar).

And then deleted it shortly after. Because the map of the "new multipolar world" correctly shows #Crimea as part of #Ukraine, thus embarrassingly countering their own propaganda.

As a matter of fact such sloppiness is quite common in Russian propaganda as graphic designers are one of the most underpaid jobs, operating at the lowest effort: google the topic, find first good looking vector or bitmap, copy/paste, edit and send to customer. Each year 9 May celebrations see huge "our granddads as WW2 heroes" posters followed by angry and embarrassed comments "you idiots, these are photos of German soldiers!"

Sometimes US soldiers too! 😂
This photo in particular is really popular — the flag usually gets replaced of course.
Not as bad as using Nazis holding obviously German-made guns, but still has nothing to do with USSR or victory on the Eastern front.
There are so many Soviet WW2-era photos that are just as iconic — why they don't use those is beyond me 🤪
