Russian state tv is now discussing the recent Trump indictment, criticizing the US for being a country where opposition leaders are thrown in jail on phony charges.

@randahl They are projecting like that all the time, in 2010s they were blaming Ukraine for suppressing opposition, often on days following crackdown on opposition or press in Russia. They sometimes are trying to pin something on someone else preemptively — this usually means that they are planning something similar themselves. Old tactic.
