I had to patch dwm again to move emoji a couple of pixels lower. I hate it when the gaps are uneven.
I'm pretty sure scrot will mess the screenshot up anyway and it won't even be seen behind the garbage 😩

I'm fairly confident it's just the GTK part.
Come on, it's not as bad as writing your own emacs.
