@lore Just encoding video — yeah, probably true, maybe it even has a dedicated co-processor for that, not sure what the quality would be, usually it's worse than "software" CPU-based encoding.
For general-purpose computational tasks like applying FX, I'm not so sure MacMini is up to this TBH 🤷
@m0xee i've seen some pretty promising rendering time tests using those systems. people seem very impressed.
