i find it kind of annoying when people say "just switch to linux" in response to someone complaining about windows being bad. yes, linux is superior in most ways, however some software either just doesn't work at all on linux or is blocked from running on linux (as lots of online games are). it's especially frustrating considering i do use linux, more than i use windows. i spent a lot of time setting up a dual boot that wouldn't destroy itself across two different storage media, which required inputting a bunch of cryptic commands into the windows preinstall environment to work. don't assume everyone you meet is just another windows user who doesn't know how to install a different operating system.
