Yes, too depressing. I know the details because we were discussing this case with my friend. She was all "Why did he just not do what he was told to keep the child?" — that was quite a surprise, her thinking that it's possible to negotiate with FSB. People get out of touch with what it's like to be here when they leave Russia 😅

Apparently, Russia abandoned all the human rights conventions so it'll only get worse 😩
