Not at all! Just like regular cops (you know, I LOVE boys in blue 😆) most of the time they do outrageous shit, but sometimes they do solve problems. And these are a couple of examples of US actions that are often badged as pure evil, while… they are not!

There are a bunch of counterexamples, Afghanistan being the most recent one. USSR and US made a mess that will turn into a major international clusterfuck pretty soon, then US is like: "Oops, I'm outta here!", again betraying their allies and leaving people behind and what's left of USSR now commits to trade agreements with Taliban, while still considering them terrorists — you can't mention Taliban in Russian press without noting they are a terrorist organisation. What?! Yes!
