@scops Were they really following it? I always thought they were pioneering it. Wasn't it the reason they've abandoned PowerPC first to Intel and now to ARM. When the first iPhone came out most cell phones had user-replaceable batteries. Then the all-glued-in MacBook Air and so on…

@m0xee @marioguzman Gnome 3 was first on desktop UIs to pack all stuff into burger menus and make applications to apps ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNOME#/media/File:GNOME_Shell_&_GNOME_Weather_3.14--running_on_AOSC_OS3.jpg )… that was around 2013-15 I think… At this time we had Yosemite and El Capitan.
