At least not in its current form, probably we'll see something close to the dissolution of the Soviet Union, it still means dark times ahead, probably for decades, and we may see another iteration of this, probably it falls apart into a dozen of smaller states — I don't know. Probably in some of these states even worse people will come to power, but they'll have neither inclination, nor capacity to carry out such atrocities.

That's what worries me too! I'm really just learning about most of inner Russia. Some states like Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan seem to have the natural resources to create a good government, I haven't a clue about their political stability.
If the past is any example, it will be a greedy, nasty, cluster f*ck, and most of the people will lose.😢
