Do they really place keys on top edge of the trackpad these days in most laptops? When did that happen? 🤯
How do I perform dragging with one hand on that? I thought I stopped "getting it" when they placed the headphone jack on the bottom edge of smartphone, but this… I think I'm going to keep using the laptops I have now for a while…

@m0xee@social.librem.one the buttons on the top of the touchpad are to be paired with the "jelly button" mouse in the middle of the keyboard. So left and right click, the the button acts as a thumbstick for mouse and then you can disable the touchpad.

IBMs used this alot in their design it became a standard feature for the thinkpads.

I never paid attention to the fact that Thinkpads had two sets of buttons because I like trackpoint so much more and I always had trackpad disabled on my Thinkpads, one of them even has a big sticker that covers it wholly 🤣
