@bitsavers Maybe this is the format we should embrace, the web looks like it's going to collapse under its weight anyway 🤷
So much wasted processing power and electricity and disk space. And you can't even archive/preserve that stuff properly, there are certain tools for that, but imagine if Facebook goes out of business, the interconnectedness between all that stuff is lost forever — it just disappears.

Information siloing in walled gardens is something I think about a lot. The same problem exists with Discord
