@curiousthinker @book why do you even take that shit, it does not give you "real" sleep

I only take it when I have trouble falling asleep, not every night. Usually some asmr or a documentary does the trick. Remember I quit drinking so my sleeping patterns are kinda wonky right now. It used to be I'd dust off a six pack by 3-4am and pass tf out. Now I have to coordinate my sleep more.
@dem

Sometimes, sometimes my brain won't shut the tf up. Sometimes I go to bed a 2am and wake up a 6:30 am and can't fall back asleep for the life of me. Then I get up and do stuff and finally start feeling sleepy again around 2pm when I have to be at work a 3pm, it's hell right now 😩

I got a plan to make it easier, it involves less screen time and working out at night.

I can totally relate, same sleep issues here! Working out late is probably a bad idea, it makes you feel energized more often than sleepy if you are already exhausted. Reading is a good idea, I'm not into your circle… No, of course I've read the Bible, but it doesn't put me to sleep that well, old Don Knuth does a way better job. Sometimes my brain says: "Oh, fuck this shit, I'm out" after only a couple of pages in 😁

And yeah, watching some vids/movies on low volume does a surprisingly good job, but I've got addicted to that shit and now I can rarely fall asleep without some murmuring in the background. I'm not so sure that was a good idea after all 😩
