Kai OS... That's the partially closed source fork of Firefox OS.. What a missed opportunity from Mozilla that it abandoned the project and Kai OS is actually successful.

@safiuddinkhan AFAIK there is a more open custom ROM called GerdaOS. I was thinking of getting myself one of these phones — they have 4G and can act as an access point, and that's about the only thing I really need in a cell phone 😅
There was a Matrix app too so maybe it's usable on its own, it didn't support calls and encryption at the time, but maybe it does now.
