I think you've made a typo, it should be 10.6, but 10.9 was good actually! Since then everything started rolling downhill IMO. 10.10 was a disaster! It did get better now, but after a brief period of trying to live with Windows, I'm also back to Linux. Void in my case. I even have it on my PowerPC-based Macs. I'm a former longtime Gentoo user, but I'm not going back to that — too time-consuming 😅

I wish I had done a full post on my old Hackintosh. I had a 10.9 Snow Leopard system I used for years as my primary OS .. had nvidia/dual-monitors working. It was the last good MacOS version in my opinion. I got a real Mac laptop in 2012 with Lion and fucking hated it and hated I could get Snow Leopard on it. That when I went back to Gentoo.
