@styfle Yeah, but it is confusing as hell. How could they increase the major version number with release notes like that? Apple Silicon, Windows Defender, Microsoft IME? It's completely irrelevant to the platform I'm on. It's patchlevel release at best. If I was given choice, I'd probably skip this release and if they only increased the third number they'd make this choice obvious without looking at release notes 🤷
It's bullshit marketing just like Intel-AMD Mhz-PR race was.

@m0xee @neglesaks Agreed, it should probably be a minor version, not major version, if they were following Semantic Versioning since it added a new feature for Linux and Mac. https://semver.org
I don't see anything that would be considered major, but alas, they don't follow Semantic Versioning 🤷♂️
