This! Once I've copied several directories with cp to new location and intended to remove original ones by replacing "cp -a" in the last command with "rm -rf". It took me a couple of seconds to realize that I forgot to remove the last parameter β€” the target dir. That was quick, but about 20 gigs of data I've just copied were already gone. Nothing of value was lost, but I was scared as I'm usually super-careful about this stuff 😱
