No, please! I don't want to have anything Google in kernel space, getting rid of WebP is already enough of a hassle.

Patches are okay. They did a lot to improve software that was already there, I admit that. But having Google at the helm is worst possible thing. I like go for example, but:
go env | grep GOPROXY
GOPROXY="direct"
I don't want to rely on their infrastructure, I never asked for that 🤬
