@Weeble me when I tried giving suggestion to goshujin sama @Zerglingman to use Windows 11 and Macbook Pro.
@MK2boogaloo @Weeble I don't remember that.
But anyway, I like good UI, so no thanks.
@Zerglingman @Weeble forgot to add "if"

So if Windows has good UI do you plan on using it?

@MK2boogaloo
I did that once: I've switched from Mac OS X to Windows 8, but Microsoft ruined what seemed like a promising UI with time. In fact, pre-release Windows 8 was the best, when there was no Start button at all, since then it was rolling downhill IMO. Dark mode for File Explorer in Windows 11 is nice, I like new Window management presets, that thing that appears when you hover over Maximize in window header, but everything else looks like Windows XP to me, meh 🤢
@Weeble @Zerglingman

@m0xee @MK2boogaloo @Weeble @Zerglingman One of the many reasons I use Linux. The UI is entirely custom, so the only thing I have to worry about ruining it is my own bad taste lol.

@cwb
If there is an option to customize it I:
1) Spend too much time on it
2) End up with no UI or almost no UI 😂
Like this: social.librem.one/web/statuses
Even the ones who use sway usually have some nice things like CPU load, or free RAM indicators on the panel, but I'm usually like: "Do I really need that? If I want to know, I'll run top anyway"
Even that clock and charge level is a shell script that runs date and cat on a file in /proc every minute and adds emoji
