@Jessica PinePower looks nice too: https://pine64.com/product/pinepower-120w-desktop-power-supply-us-version/
It's smaller, but of course it doesn't have 80 ports 😅
@Jessica
OMG 😱
Then, maybe it's worth getting that 80-port thing!
@Jessica
I have a lot of weird tech shit lying around, but if I count USB-powered I'd probably only get to seven
That's including the USB-powered oral irrigator😅
My workstation of course has a lot of peripherals plugged in, but it has plenty of ports and two displays have USB-hubs — more than enough for me.
@Jessica I'm using an old Mac Pro. It doesn't have BIOS, it's emulated if you want to install Windows. And its EFI doesn't even comply with UEFI standard, it's old.
There's not a lot you can do before the OS boots, you can probably get an EFI shell and you can choose where to boot from, no settings at all, you have to modify EFI vars for that, but somehow Apple made even peripherals connected via USB-hub work in this boot device chooser. And even Bluetooth peripherals "just work" 😁
@Jessica
Like I said, it's A LOT! Most of my stuff is just old and USB-chargers weren't that popular at the time I suppose: I have a couple of old phones, a couple of powerbanks, most wireless peripherals use AA-batteries, my DSi has its own charger…
Didn't know you 3DS used USB-charger, is that the standard way or are you using a custom one?
