I can relate. You don't even realize what this red flag talk is about because you've never encountered a person like that before or didn't become close, even if the relationship didn't work out previously, there was no drama, you could even stay friends. Until you meet THIS person and you can't fix it no matter what you do on your side, and you realize — oh, THIS is abusive!
