Thanks #jolla for fucking up my mobile data network on my #Xperia10III. Now i can't use any IPv4 related app anymore with my german #congstar / d1 sim on the go. No telegram (native or android app), twitter (native app)... Thanks a lot x.x

@m0xee if you use a German D1 based provider and a Xperia 10 III, the IPv4 connections doesn't work. (with WiFi all is fine). I don't know if other providers or Xperias have the same problem. I'll check my old XA2 today.

@scops My phone is not officially supported, it's a community port so I think it will be even worse for me if I upgrade. And my carrier's equipment went out for more than 10 hours after the thunderstorm. So neither IPv4 nor IPv6 work. The situation is pretty dire 😅

It's great to meet a person using SfOS "in the wild", not on the Sailfish forums 🤝

@m0xee indeed, indeed! my first SFOS phones were also commuity port based (moto g). since i need a proper matrix client on the go i switched to official supported phones für element.io. the XA2-line seems to be supported much better than the 10. the problem i have seems to be related to VoLTE... so if your CP doesn't have this enabled you have good chances not to have that problem :)

@scops My carrier has VoLTE, but it's not mandatory, so I'm in luck here.
I use Sailtrix which is clunky, but it works for simple IM tasks and it even supports E2EE. But yes, voice calls and more advanced stuff are out of the question so in no way it's a proper client.

@m0xee Sailtrix is a way to clunky for me atm. my family uses matrix and i need a daily useable client :/
