I can't say there were crazy workloads on this workstation, just normal DAW work/audio recording and Blacks are workstation-oriented so that shouldn't have been a problem, still… If you need backups, maybe go for WD Red, if I'm not mistaken those are slower and more power efficient (so less heat) — theoretically should make it last longer.
