Read Howard Zinn's "A People's History".

I'm not sure how anyone who has read that book can look at today and be surprised. The state apparatus and capitalism work together as two components one system. The news media have always, ALWAYS, functioned to support and reinforce the status quo. ALWAYS. The narrative is created and controlled by a capitalist press. They well craft the narrative that they think will best serve the establishment which, in this case, is the old guard of Democrat Party.

But, the Democrats have long been a party that supports the establishment which is why they support capitalism, war, etc. They have to be pushed and pushed to ever come close to approximating the grass roots.

The two party system of electoral politics keeps everything locked up. At the very least it should be cracked open to easier access to other parties, other voices. That would be a solid step.

Otherwise, we can expect the establishment stranglehold to continue.

Never forget that the answer when the stock market crashes completely is to literally take all the rich people's money and use it to protect the poor and vulnerable.

That's it. That's the answer.

And when some snide fucks tell you that it's "impossible", remember that money and markets and stocks and all that is *100% made up*. The vast majority of it isn't even remotely related to *anything* but whether or not the hedge fund managers got a hando the night before.

It's not *real*.
