Wakelyns the pioneering English #agroforestry farm is looking to convert to a Community Benefit Society. Anyone can buy shares and get a vote (In a CBS its a vote per member rather than weighted by number of shares held)
Great project to join/support!
If they can raise enough to cover half the price of the farm, the other owner will donate their half!
The #Organic Research Center has spent 30 years looking extensively at Wakelyns good results growing grains between rows of trees
Wakelyns also took a number of wheats with high genetic diversity and started growing them together to create an ever shifting diverse, resilient population that they replant every year-many people also grow it elsewhere
Ive linked to Hodmedods page about the conversion to a CBS as they are great and sell produce that was developed at Wakelyns (if you interested). Also other good things

A statement from EFF Senior Counsel @davidgreene about today's Meta settlement:
“Young users will now have less access to Meta products, and a lesser ability to exercise their rights to speak, access information and art and culture, associate and form communities, and play. The settlement also embeds age assurance into every product, mandating the collection of even more personal information from users of all ages." (1/2)
Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge’s case is one of the most important press freedom cases today.
Nothing about it should play out in secret.
It’s especially galling that while the court demands Herridge reveal her sources, it keeps the basis for its own decision secret.
