Software is going to be *less secure* over the coming year, for a variety of reasons: Supply chain attacks; vibe coding; LLMs making vulnerabilities easier to find. (Some of this will resolve with time, but not all of it.)

That means your posts are gonna leak. Google Cloud, dating sites, any messaging service that isn't end-to-end encrypted. If there's anything at all possibly sensitive: Archive it locally and delete it from the server.

Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to get our (nearly 10yo) hound's teeth cleaned. It involves full anaesthetic... Wow. The unexpected side effect: dog breath is *gone*. Her teeth are stunningly white and clean. She seems pretty chuffed about it, too.

After much pain figuring out that static files are stored in the "public" directory (which means the Forgejo webhook thingy doesn't work), and then playing with submodules to end up with one main sources repo, and a "pages" submodule that contains the files in that "public" directory.
