Saw that Microsoft saying it’s a website’s fault if your password gets swept up by Recall if the site doesn’t cloak the password entry field following “standard internet protocols” which completely ignores the accessibility case for showing someone what they’ve typed in to their password field. Pretty sure every password manager lets you do this, and a ton of sites as well.

What a head-in-the-sand take.

... turns out they need a 'Material Safety Data Sheet' (MSDS) for anything that contains a LiPo battery, even a fairly tiny one like the cases have. Ugh - try finding an MSDS on an OEM website. No chance. Such a freaking pain in the neck. So many barriers to repairability and conservation.

Hi everyone! New person managing the social media account here – many of us were at the #GPN22 in Karlsruhe and, this time around, there were many that were interested (or even involved in!) alternative forges for themselves or their hackspaces and, well, Codeberg?!

I even talked to a person in a train that later turned out to be a Forgejo contributor (the person next to them was a Codeberg e.V. member). We all met up!

Feels like whoever designed the UI is either purposefully trying to hide information, or is so enamored of their ability to do something like the above that they don't consider why the hell anybody would want that in the first place. So the Black man that everyone was laughing at for dialing in to his court case from his car, while his license was suspended, is not so foolish. Racism has people laughing at its victims.
