One thing we need to recognize post-pandemic is that we really don't need to travel as much for business reasons. Telecommute jobs should stay as such; business air travel should be mostly eliminated in favor ofremote options. The caution with remote options is that workers should refuse to allow productivity tracking devices aimed at punitive control, but most of our capitalistic productivity advances revolve around a lack of trust. We have a long way to go on this.
