I continue to really like #rust as a programming language. Even though I'm writing more #raku these days, I still love Rust (and am writing something in it right now).

That said, it's increasingly clear to me that Rust is _primarily_ targeted at the Big Tech usecase (aka "at scale") and only secondarily interested in the Free Software usecase.

Today's news that the Rust Foundation is reserving *half* of its board seats for Big Tech provides additional confirmation.

While sex positivity can be good in some ways, it often erases ace people, those who don't want or enjoy normative sex, and people with sexual trauma.

It can come with a lot of pressure, either implicit or explicit, that people should be having sex or enjoying it, and that those who don't enjoy these activities and don't want to hear about them are not "open-minded" enough (or even worse, broken in some way).

Has anyone had experience implementing Shleepay? https://github.com/shleeable/shleepay It's a Docker-supporting fork of Drew Devault's Fosspay open source patronage/micropayment app (uses Stripe to accept one off and repeating payments)... thinking I might fire up an instance as a live demo for tonight's NZ-based FOSS meetup. Out of interest, are there any representatives of the Software Freedom Law Center on the Fediverse? Given that this flagrant violation (i.e. relicensing) of the GPL in the WordPress marketplace is more the rule than the exception, I'm wondering if anyone else has taken issue with it previously - what's the precedent?
