A woman in Minnesota was trying to get to a doctors appointment when she drove down a street where an ICE protest was occurring.

Masked thugs swarmed her vehicle demanding she move

They then smash her windows, break her seatbelt and drag her out

You can hear this woman yell “I’m disabled and trying to get to a doctor up there that’s why I didn’t move”.

This is horrifying.

How many of these videos do people need to see before they realize this is not going to stop?

The worker, named TJ Sabula, has now been fired.

Trump defended the murder of Renee Good by saying she was “disrespectful” to ICE agents.

Now an employee has lost his job.

There’s no freedom of speech in America anymore.

Unless you want to say “quiet piggy” to a reporter.

So: In the past the infrastructure was simpler, the underlying hardware was simpler, the number of use cases you had to satisfy was smaller. And now everything is fundamentally more complicated and you're competing with platforms that have millions of absolutely normal computer users using them. But we've also got greater avenues of sharing knowledge, collaboration, better understanding of how to build abstractions. Was the golden age 30 years ago, or is it now?
