I was confused why they were pushing ticketers to ignore paper tickets while they are exactly as good and static as "digital" tickets, but with the future TOTP rollout it makes sense: they want to teach people before the rollout that screenshots won't work.

Y’all, since I started trying to learn how to Art in the pandemic, I’ve fallen into a tradition where between the Xmas and NYE, I will let my subconscious loose on a canvas, and then I paint what my brain thinks is coming in the next year. I spent the weekend cobbling together some passable Ansible to build Tor web tunnels on six VPSes on six different international providers. I could have done manual installs, or used their existing Ansible, but I like to play with the tech.

Same for crypto. Once people have bought the hype and written a book or two about the possibilities, it's basically impossible to get them to realize that they've been led astray. As the famous saying goes, "it's easier to fool someone than to convince them they've been fooled."
