My brother would lie down on the back seat, close his eyes and see the world the way his father saw it.

I think of that every time there’s a request here to include ALT text descriptions on Mastodon. It’s such a small ask with such a huge upside.

Just wanted to point out that unfairly raising fares for public transport is not only short sighted and harmful to environmental goals, traffic congestion and cost of living; it has also historically been the trigger for mass popular revolt in places like Chile, Brazil and others.

It's yet another example of a policy that's a penny wise, a pound foolish.

What's happening, is girls 15 to 17 are having fewer babies. Kids are having fewer kids.

Also, this is an interesting way of saying that "Teen pregnancy is down, due to sex education and contraception."

In 1991 25% of 15 year olds gave birth before they turned 21. That's bad. Now it's 6%. That's better.

They must not have been around for Obama's kill lists and Bush's black sites.

So either I'm surrounded by children or ya'll have the memories of fucking goldfish. Just sayin'.
