Most people don't know how to use markdown and aren't going to learn. Bragging about NOT having a WYSIWYG editor is a bad look, unless your aim is specifically to reduce your software's usefulness and reach. Because all you're doing is making someone like me have to teach six 65 year olds how to write markdown.
