I'm involved in a project at work, where two wrongs don't make a right, but we're going to do it anyway. I've seen this so often in companies, that I don't even bother fighting it once direction is set; I also don't put in any unpaid overtime on it, because I told you so. You can't build quality in at the late stages of a project. You can't build maintainability in at the late stages of a project. If you fuck up the front end, you get a steaming pile of shit. #dumballover

I believe that anyone who uses the term, "cancel culture", is not worth reading/conversation. While I don't believe in broad censorship rights, I do believe in focused censorship rights. i.e., by an individual or community. You can't always choose your neighbors, but you can ignore them.

A little over a week before her first scheduled vaccine shot, my wife gets COVID-19. The rest of the household has tested negative, so she's quarantined to the our bedroom. At least she has her own TV and bathroom. (Funny how I still consider TV in this age of internet.) More fortunately the symptoms are about the same as a head cold for her. I get my first vaccine shot tomorrow.

Finally saw a reason why I ended up with five different covers in my OFF! First Four EPs set. It seems that one of the original covers not released to the general public, let's call it Pedophile Cop, was deemed too controversial. My set (general public release) had two copies of the 7" that had the aforementioned cover and the general release cover, but was missing one of the other 7". (I got four, but only 3 different vinyls.) Writing to the band got me the missing 7" with it's cover. #score
