My read because I’ve been asked many times and need to sleep
The caveats and needs for further research the team notes are very honest. It’s hard to really calculate risk here because most vectors are physical and impact will vary by device and manufacturers.
@glynmoody It shouldn't be a surprise; we have a long recent history of our own war criminal presidents, both Democratic and Republican.
The initial draft MR to put a wallpaper on #phosh's lockscreen is now >1.5y old but it's not draft any longer 🎉 (I'll spare you the details why this took so long).

42% of cybercrimes in the UK are committed by police, who compose .04% of the overall population. Hard working bobbies you got over there.

@CedarTea Yes. I think it does explain a lot. At the beggining of the tarrifs crisis, it seemed a bit odd that Canadian politicians seemed to be very concerned about being treated the same as México.( and have shown zero solidarity so far to everyone's loss)
Then I saw reactions here in Europe. They are also very surprised to be treated like, well, we are used to being treated by the US in the global south(I am Mexican)
Realizing one day you are another colony of the US must be tough.
@jeffowski I always figured that was already the pop song and bestseller lists, so they've automated that now...[shrug].
In the early 2000s, Christian right lunatics were mocked for blindly find-replacing the word "gay" on websites. Now this insane censorship is US government policy.
Donald Trump and Republicans are engaging in the largest and most idiotic censorship operation in history.

How can the public trust CBS journalists to cover the same administration that their bosses are bribing?
News outlets can't effectively expose corruption when they're part of it.

When laws are rushed, rights get trampled. The Take It Down Act can be easily abused. Tell Congress to stop it. https://act.eff.org/action/the-take-it-down-act-will-censor-legal-speech-without-helping-victims/
There's now a worse gig than Spinal Tap's puppet show and it's Trump's Kennedy Center. https://www.patreon.com/c/BrianMcFadden
On this day in 1942, Lucy Parsons passed away. Born into slavery, she became one of the most radical voices for labor rights, anarchism, and free speech in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She fought for workers, women, and marginalized groups - challenging capitalism and state oppression at every turn. Despite constant surveillance and censorship, she never wavered. Her words and actions continue to inspire us today.
“Governments never grant rights. They can only suppress rights.”
Hi everyone, for several hours we are currently fighting with potentially malicious crawling. We are seeing distributed access on Codeberg that could have been crawling, however it seems to only use the most expensive routes. And each time we block an access pattern, a new one pops up immediately.
We are doing our best to keep the performance up.
At least my state is staying out of this #crypto nonsense.
"I am not signing on to that stuff and I can't imagine a majority of your constituents want you to," Montana Republican State Rep. Bill Mercer said during floor debate.
